EU.Pol is a strong collective of European Police Trade Unions that stand for Unity, Transparency and Pragmatism. In our actions we highly value the principles of Human rights and Rule of Law of Democratic Societies. We bind and act on EU level and support our members on a National level.
EU.Pol will achieve this by influencing and promoting aligned principles, guidelines and regulations for police officers in Europe based on best practices and experiences.
EU.Pol stands for;

Individual and Collective advocacy for police officers

Positioning police organizations in European democracies
EU.Pol will cope with current and future challenges in Europe through;

Representing our members at EU level and advocate our EU.Pol stand points on relevant topcis

Police (trade union) cooperation in Europe, along the line of the police trade/profession

Sharing best Practices and experiences in Union and Policing methodologies in Europe

Professionalization, organizational/professional development and advocating alignment of regulations such as Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) for police officers in the Europe

One of the tools we use to achieve our goals, is to influence EU politics with cooperation with EU Members of Parliament
GOOD POLICING IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT A PROFESSIONAL POLICE OFFICER. THIS COUNTS FOR ALL POLICE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE WORLD, BUT EVEN MORE IS THIS CASE FOR POLICING IN THE ACTUAL EUROPEAN CONTEXT.
